We Ask the Big Questions

We at the Double Happiness Fitness Corporation ask the big life questions.

WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS FOR HAPPINESS?

Here is what we discovered. We love laughing and singing. We love apples and pears and other fresh fruits. We love being physically active. We love dancing, running and jumping. We are amazed at the colour texture and taste of the avocado, the rutabaga, a broccoli and bok choy and mustard greens.

We love friends who encourage and support us to be ourselves. We love getting up in the morning and listening to the birds while we meditate. We love feeling the wind and the sunlight on our skin. We love the smell of lilacs in the spring and the scent of cedar trees after the rain. We are in awe of the crisp cold air of winter and the return of the robin in the spring time. Oh, and walking on a mountain!

We treasure the ease with which we breathe, walk and talk especially when it is temporarily lost. We love our non tooth ache. We love our playful pets who remind us not to take things so seriously. We love resting and being quiet. We love walking slowly with nowhere to go and nothing to do. We love hearing about someone who cares about someone else's well-being.

WHAT IS FITNESS?

We have been told that fitness is to be in good physical condition, the opposite of fatty degeneration. But at Double Happiness Fitness Corp. we discovered fitness is living from the heart. It is not conforming to someone's idea of a body shape and size. A fit person laughs at themselves often and serves others in the spirit of loving kindness, because we are all in this life together. A fit person dares to be in touch with their heart and follow its direction. Talking with our hearts is not only possible but mandatory in our programs. We'll teach you how to do that.
